Dark Shadows
Whether you are a fan of soap operas, you have probably heard about many of the daytime soaps going off the air. One soap opera that went off the air long before the recent cuts was Dark Shadow. The premise of this show was things of a supernatural nature and it is classic gothic. Take a look at tv.com to watch some old episodes.
Los Angeles County Museum of Art
The Los Angeles County Museum of Art is presenting a retrospective of the works of Tim Burton's that was put together by Museum of Moden Art, New York. I saw the show at TIFF last summer and it is a great collection of his work as a film director,artist, illustrator, photographer, and writer. I especially enjoyed seeing his early work from his private collection.
Nightmare Before Christmas on Blu-Ray - 3D
Since I already have the VHS, DVD and 2 Disk Collector's Edition DVD I will have to skip on this one. For those you who are interested, the Blue-Ray - 3D version is set for release on August 30, 2011 and includes 2 BDs, 1 DVD, and the Digital copy.
Sleeping Beauty
I was eagerly awaiting Tim Burton's vision for a Sleeping Beauty remake but unfortunately his involvement has been cancelled.
